I'm not due until January 11th, but I'm wondering when I should start looking into infant care. I will be taking 12 weeks off for materinty leave, so I won't need it until spring.
It depends. If you are looking into a daycare center I would say yes. They only take so many infants so a lot of places fill up fast. If you are looking at an in home or nanny you probably have some time. I started at about 20 weeks and was shocked at the cost. I was happy to be prepared and started putting away the cost of child care into a savings account just to get used to living without that money.
