House cleaning Qs?

in 1st Trimester
Years ago I saw one of the list of things you should not eat/drink/clean with while your expecting. I really need to do my Saturday routine and just wanted to know if I should stay away from anything in particular. Gotta give both bathrooms a good scrub down Comet ok?

    Yep, everything in moderation and no huffing cleaning products.  We use mainly eco stuff, anyway, but sometimes we can't get around the bleach cleaner.  It is fine.

    Just make sure you ventilate the area well, and try not to douse everything with bleach.

    I personally am taking no chances; I told husby that the bathtub, toilet and floors are all his for the next couple of months and I will vacuum and clean the counters and do the laundry.  He knows I hate hate HATE the sound of a vacuum cleaner but hey sacrifices must be made!

    I asked my OB about this one too and she said it's fine as long as I don't huff the cleaning products... our moms cleaned with bleach and we all turned out fine...
