If you've used Mederma...

did you start using it as soon as you got a cut, or after is was healed? ?I've never used a scar-minimizing cream, so I have no idea. ?My cat just took a giant swipe at my face (was playing w/ my hair and missed his target). ?It's definitely going to scar. ?Should I start using Mederma right away or wait??

    I'm pretty sure you need to wait for it to fully heal.  Feel free to double check me on that.

    I used mederma on a scar I got from burning my hand on the oven.  It worked really well.  gl!

    I used maderma once for a cat scratch.  It burned a lot though and I stopped.  Now I'm wondering if it was burning because it wasn't healed enough before I started using it.

    And I don't know if you saw my post (just did it), but I really wasn't offended you defriended me just surprised.  No worries!  I understand.

    Wait until it heals, then start using it.  The sooner after it heals that you use it, the better it works.  It WILL work for old scars, it will just take a long time.
