I was in Old Navy yesterday checking out their clearance maternity rack. A non-pregnant (but heavier) older lady was also poking through the same area. I think I made a sound when she pulled out what I thought was a cute dress (I liked it & must have made an approval "hmm!"), so then she asked me if I wear maternity clothes, because she does sometimes. I told her I didn't really need to, but that I was "almost halfway". She said "OH!" and was visibly shocked. I did tell her that agree that you can't tell on a lot of items, but I think she was a little embarrassed because she had assumed that I, too, was NOT pregnant!
I really do wish I had a *real* bump already, but this was pretty funny to me
Re: Silly shopper in Old Navy...
LOL!
You should have snatched that dress and ran to the checkout. LOL
LOL I would have but it was a small, & I need a large! I think she would have needed an XL or an XXL anyway
