I have a couple nearby but haven't had a chance to go in. I've heard they're great consignment stores and all the products are safety inspected. Not sure how good the pricing is.
we have one out here in tacoma..and i love the store!!!!! but i tried to take a brand new graco quattro lx stroller in the the box still that my sis paid over $170 for it and they offered me $25 for it!!! but other than that i love the store...got the baby some new soft soled vans for $ 5 and some jordans soft sole $ 5 and some dc $5!!!
I wasn't impressed. I thought that they carried cheap second hand clothing. Granted it could have just been the one store I visited. I recommend seeing if you have a Kid to Kid near you. This consignment store is much better.
I have one near me..they're great for newly used clothes, books, cribs, strollers. I have only purchased clothes from there but a friend of mine got a nice double stroller from there at a great price. I would go in..it's worth it!
Yes they do sell maternity clothes as well, they have quite a bit at the ones near me. I've gotten quite a bit of clothes for me this pregnancy:) Most likely pregnancy books if people where selling them, so probably from store to store if they have them.

We went there last week and found a brand new, never been used Graco pack n play for $75--it retails for $150 at Target! They had a lot of new things at the one I went to, so we'll be checking it out again.
We do! I love it! I got some great maternity clothes there! Personally, I feel the baby clothes are somewhat overpriced, though. You should definitely check it out!
I LOVE the one near me! I bought two maternity skirts and two nursing tops, as well as two adorable little Gap outfits for the baby for about fifty bucks. The pricing wasn't bad at all, imo.
It might differ depending on where you live but the ones around us are useless. Waaaaay overpriced. We're talking used kids jeans (not brands like Gap or anything) for 6 - 8 bucks - ummm I can buy new ones for the same price or a buck or two more. Everytime I've ever been in I've found that the items are priced really high and in the case of toys (like exersaucers, etc) are really dirty.

It depends on the area. We have one near us and it was pretty neat. We just went for the first time a month or so ago and I got 3 brand new with tag outfits for DD all under $8 each. And they were name brand... two Baby Gap and the other was Koala Kids.
I live in IL and there is one by my work. They have a lot of baby "gear" some of it brand new and some of it used. The brand new stuff doesn't seem like a deal to me at all, but you can get a good deal on the used stuff if you don't mind using that for your baby. Would be great if you needed extra things though (if you have a family member babysitting your baby and they need a bouncer or something for their house)
Mine has a TON of clothes. They take only quality stuff that isn't stained, but it still seems pretty expensive for used clothes. Some of the cute outfits they had were still $8 which you could buy something brand new for that much. I'd rather buy brand new, or spend like $1 at a garage sale.
They do have maternity clothes, but I wasn't impressed with the selection at mine. Could just be my store though.
I didn't find their prices on 'stuff' to be all that great. They had bouncers that are $29 new for $23 used, etc. We found some great buys on the clothes, but had to hunt a bit as some of the clothing prices weren't that great either.
