So, I am at my 35 week appointment with my doc and I measured about 1 1/2 cm smaller than I did 2 weeks ago, so my doc whips out the ultrasound to see that my little guy is in the traverse position (horizontal). So she starts talking about if he is in the same position at my next appointment (1 1/2 weeks) that she has to try aversion...now I saw the video and had my co worker tell me of her experience, and its not pretty..has anyone else had this done??? Is this super normal for my little man to switch up his position in a couple of weeks?
Re: Aversion?!?!? Say again?!?!?
She said she wants to do one at 37 weeks if he hasnt flipped....
Well she'll be about 36 1/2 weeks at her next appointment.
OP, it's totally possible that your LO will move to the head down position on his own in the next few weeks. There are also other things you can do to try and flip a breech baby - here is a website I've heard is good:

I have heard that external versions are painful, but I have also heard that you can take medication during them. You'll have to talk to your doctor for more info. GL
Apparently my pregnancy brain is in full gear and I can't do math. Ha. 34wk5d plus 1.5 weeks....nevermind.
Yeah, that didnt really make a whole lot of sense...at my next appointment I will be 36 1/2 weeks...and she would do it a few days later....Sorry..its almost bed time...
I just had one done at 37 weeks 3 days. It hurts like crap even with an epidural. Mine did not go well, they were not able to turn him.
There is still a chance that your LO will still turn.
