DS was so rotten today that I

put his butt to bed at 6:30, with barely any dinner. He was screwing around with his food, hitting us, the baby and the furniture.

It was a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.

Mama is having a drink.

    Enjoy the drink.  the best thing with kids is that tomorrow, he'll be back to his old self.

    See, now when I do that I end up paying for it around 3 am. DS will wake up wide awake AND want to go downstairs and eat breakfast and be up for the day. He will not go back to bed and will work himself up more and more until we have to go down.

    It's just easier to put him to bed at 8 and let him sleep a little later.
