Here's my list:
1) I got my hair did yesterday, and I'm loving it!
2) We're taking Ruby to the beach tomorrow for the first time this summer!
3) Sunday we're having a mini family reunion at the Del Mar Races, which means cocktails and lots of fun!
I'm not working today, so Max and I have a playdate with some friends, including his new 1- day old cousin, Josie (my sister's new baby)
DH just called and asked if his buddies can come over for poker tomorrow night; that means he has to clean the bathrooms and mop tomorrow! (Our agreement when he invites them over on short notice! LOL)
Long weekend!
BR: Marino got his first haircut yesterday and I love it!! Pics/video in blog if anyone wants to see.
Sort of BR: I get to meet njkaren and Brandon on Sunday AND go to the beach!!
BR: ?Claire had her first day of preschool yesterday and did GREAT! ?Keira is standing independently now!!
NBR: ?Tomorrow we're having a Labor Day party at our house!?

Robbie's really scooting nicely and lately has been very babbly and you can just see his little wheels spinning figuring things out. It's nice to see.
My Blog
BR: It's my niece's quince's and I got a super cute suit for DS. I can't wait to dress him up. We also have a photo session planned for Sunday afternoon. I hope DS cooperates!
NBR: It's a 3 day weekend. whoohooo!!
1. jack's first tooth poked through yesterday! you can barely see it but MAN is that sucker sharp!
2. i am in the process of quitting pumping. i feel so FREE and i have a deep freezer full of milk so i THINK we will get to jack's 1st birthday with no formula
3. we are going camping this weekend. there will be campfires, and junk food and beer!
BR: We had our checkup today and D is on the growth charts!! 1% for height and weight of a 5month old and 4% for head circ. I know its little but hey, at least we are on at this point!!
I was also able to get some meds (prevacid) for D's impending reflux, so I am excited to see if that helps his feeds go a little smoother.
SBR: I have decided to quit trying to nurse, but will continue to pump until I go back to work, and then I will slowly wean down. Hoping to get to D's first year, but at this point we are guaranteed to 6 mos. I feel Free and like a weight has been lifted. Struggling with getting him to nurse was just crushing me, I was so sad at wrestling with him every time and just having him scream bloody murder all.the.time.Then we would get out the bottle and he was like a little angel, down the hatch in 20 mins. So we are sticking with pumping and good ol' Dr. Brown.
NBR/BR: Only 50 days until our family Florida vacation and Disney!! Me, Chris, Lily, My Sis, BIL, Nephew and my mom are going as a group - it's going to be fun and a built-in babysitter (mom) in case we need to go out for drinks!
On the flip-side, that means I only have 50 days to get into a swimsuit...I haven't worn one since our Babymoon in April of '08, and I think I looked better then when I was pregnant, now I don't have an excuse for the 6 month baby belly I'm still sporting.
We had a great doc appt yesterday DD is up to 13lbs, new tastes she likes bananas, apples and pears. And right now she is playing in her exersaucer and smiling at me.
and we are having a b'day party (sort of) for FIL on Sunday.
I am smiling because I survived my first week back at work in 16 months and Brandon going to the babysitter for the first time.
Also, I get to meet SBMBride406 and Marino this weekend.
Haaahahaha!! I love it!! I decided awhile back that we'll teach them to say kitty instead of cat for that very reason. So funny
NBR: I'm getting my hair cut this evening. It's been looking really awful, so I'm REALLY looking forward to it. And H is taking the next 10 days off work. YAAAY!!
BR: We had our final nurse visit from our state nicu followup program. She did an ASQ evaluation on the boys actual age. When she pulled out the form I started getting all sweaty and nervous, and I tried to talk her into doing the one for their adjusted age. I was all worried for no reason. THEY PASSED!! Meaning they're now caught up developmentally!! The ASQ isn't as comprehensive as the eval that their speech therapist does, so we'll still be in SLT for a bit, but I have officially stopped worrying about their developemnt. What a crazy, wonderful thing to say (and mean)!!
yesterday Emma was being so cute!! she would come up and lick my back and it was the tiniest little lick ever and it made me burst out laughing and then she would start laughing and then we'd start over again. It was just one of those moments that makes me love being a mom.
We have 3 days as a family!!
