I have to eat every three hours or I just don't feel good. I think I've finally figured out a manageable schedule and diet:
8:00am on the way to work a glass of oj and a few saltines
8:30-9am - breakfast, whole wheat english muffin w/ PB and banana
11:30-12pm - lunch, today was crab cakes and a salad
2:30pm - snack, lowfat string cheese and healthy nut clusters
The minute I get home - dinner
8pm - dessert, apple and cheese (or ice-cream if I feel like it)
That has worked the last few days so I'm going to try and stick with it. Last night K and I were out shopping and my 3 hr time limit was running out. I felt like a mad woman. I grabbed a bag of dorritios in the check out line and scarfed them down

I am feeling TIRED. I can't seem to get enough sleep. And to make matters worse - I wake up before my alarm every day. It goes off at 5:30, but every morning, without fail, I wake up at 4 and have to pee...and then I cannot get back to sleep. So I get up when the alarm sound and take a shower. Then...I'm so tired I just want to go back to bed! So it's a bit of a challenge getting out of the house in the morning.
I'm defintiely hungrier, and really desiring healthy foods. Because I enjoyed Two's breakdown, I'll share my own:
6:00 - Carnation breakfast shake (I've always started any early morning with this - my tummy doesn't so much like real food first thing in the AM)
8:00 - Fruit and yogurt smoothie. I've been making this at home every morning - a cup of skim milk, 1/2 a cup plain nonfat yogurt and 2-3 cups of frozen fruit (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries), sometimes I had a banana or splash OJ. I am so in love with these smoothies!
9:00 - Cheerios and milk. Yes, this is my third breakfast.
12:00 - Lunch - usually leftovers from previous night's dinner. Sometimes I need some crackers around 11:00 to make it lunch...
3/4:00 - This is when I need either something sweet (100 cal pak cookies - just enough! love!) or I get HUNGRY - I always keep a PB&J in the fridge at work just in case.
6:30/7:00 Dinner. Sometimes some ice cream (we love skinny cow) after.
I have had a little nausea here and there, but nothing a few crackers can't fix so far.
Feeling a little of the hormonal/moodiness I've heard about... But I think being tired and having sore boobs will make anyone a little cranky, lol.
Overall feeling good, if nervous...I just want everything to be okay. I can't wait for that first appt.

This will get better. Around 9 weeks I realized I could make it until 6am without getting up to pee.

Wow, I must drink too much water close to bed or something-- I regularly get up 3 times a night to pee (go to bed around 10:30, up at 1:30/2, then 3:30, then 5... I figure it's just my body getting me ready for nighttime feedings, lol!).
Food breakdown sounds fun-- particularly since I don't really know on a day-to-day basis what I eat when. I'll see if I can reconstruct a typical day...
6:30 am -- small bowl of cereal (Quaker Oat Squares)
8:30 am -- Ensure drink in the car on the way to work
10:30/11:00 am -- half a bagel w/ cream cheese or half an apple & triscuits
1:00 pm -- a cup of cottage cheese with half a cup of pineapple pieces or veggie soup or a small salad or half a chicken salad sandwich (I know that last one is a bit of a no-no)
2:30 pm -- apple & peanut butter
4:30 pm -- the other half of the bagel w/ cream cheese
7:30 pm -- dinner (this is usually where I get my substantial protein and veggies in)
9:30 pm -- fruit & a glass of milk
I find if I go more than 2 1/2 hours or so without eating, then all of a sudden I will get really woozy and sick-feeling. I keep some triscuits at my desk just to be safe, and thankfully S works here so I can usually call her and ask her to bring me something if I'm in a bind.
