When we adopted Jackson, the employee at the shelter said his cat's name is Box! He said, "I know it sounds weird, but if you met him, you'd see it totally fits." That's the funniest cat name I've heard, oh and DH had a cat growing up named Kitchen. I think something like Muffin is a pretty standard cat/pet name.

okay this fits hysterically into my story, and my conclusion from the 7 votes I see right now is that DH is just dirty and a 13 yr old
My mom just got a new kitteh, and named it Muffin, I told DH, and he thought it was wierd. He said "why didn't she just name the cat snatch or box" I thought he was being stupid, thanks for backing me up nest. In case anyone didn't know all of those things are slang terms for your lady bits.
I also give my cats people names. But, I also come up with cheesy nicknames for them - My cat Tom is also "handsomest" or "Mr handsome" and my cat Morgan is "muffy, muffers, or muffles" (all derivatives from muffin, and MH thinks it sounds dirty too).
