LONG delivery time for furniture

I am ordering my furniture for the nursery this weekend because I just called and it will take 10-16 weeks for delivery...I only have about 14 weeks left. I wanted the nursery all done before she arrives but it is a possibility that it will not be. Good think we will have a pack n play for her to sleep in when she first gets home.

I don't have first-hand experience with ordering furniture, but from what I've seen, it hardly ever takes that long to arrive. I would imagine you'd get it in time to set it up before your LO gets here!

Try checking with other stores. I was quoted 12-14 weeks for munire furniture from one store and then another store quoted me 4-6 weeks. Neither had it in stock. It's now 6 weeks from when I bought the furniture and the delivery guy is dropping it off on Wed. GL!

FWIW I was told 12-14 weeks for my Munire furniture and it came in around 8 weeks. I asked them how close to schedule the manufacturer was running and they said right on not to worry about it takign longer. They were right obviously.

Good Luck. We ordered ours when I was 20 weeks, and the store called the other day saying we should have it sometime next week. So it took about 8-9 weeks for ours to come in. I am sure you will get it early. What brand are you getting? We ordered Stanley Young American Furniture and our set was on back order for a bit.

Wow I hope it doesn't take that long! We ordered a couch 2 weeks before we went on a week long vacation and were quoted 8-12 weeks for delivery. When we got back from vacation we already had a message saying it was in. I am keeping my fingers crossed that is how it will work for you.

Its the Bonavita Hudson Collection. I will find out tomorrow how long it will actually take once we place the order! Hoping for a speedy delivery! It is also cheapest at the place we are getting it from rather than online where the delivery is shorter.

Typically they over shoot the time from what i have heard. I had my furniture delivered 4 weeks ago and a piece was damaged. I cried bc they told me they will not have a replacement until October and baby is due in Sept. Well, I got a call last week and my replacement will be delivered today, a month eartlier than expected. So you never know, hope it comes early but be prepared for late!

I ordered my Munire furniture on the fourth of July weekend and still no word. They said 6-8 weeks for delivery...it's been 8 weeks...

I'll give them another couple weeks then I'll call. We're still working on the nursery closet anyway so we wouldn't set it up just yet. Getting close though!

We ordered ours on 8-8 and were quoted 10-12 wks for delivery. We got the call last Friday it was in and we picked it up last night.

The only thing that's still on order is the toddler rail and bed conversion kit. But we don't need those for a while so we can wait on those. They said those would probably take the full 10-12 wks.
