Hello Shamrock Sweeties!! This is a check-in for moms with a due date in the month of March 2010. If you would like to be added, please post your bump name, real name, age and EDD.
Also, if you need anything changed, please post your EDD along with your new info so that it's easier to find your name on the list (it is hard to find some of you to update!).
Check-ins will be every Monday, Wednesday and Friday by 8am CST. Feel free to check-in any time that day. Give us a general update on your progress and anything else you want to add! We will have a question of the day as well. There will also be a link to the check-in posted sometime after 5pm CST on M, W, and F.
***The main check-in will now be posted on the 2nd tri board. A link to the posting will be on the 1st tri board until all members of the group cross over.
***There will be no check-in posted on Monday, September 7th due to the Labor Day holiday!

QOTD: I am going shopping w/ my mom tomorrow @ Target & BRU...looks like there are some good sales going on so I'm hoping we'll pick up some furniture for the nursery. Other then that, I plan on sleeping in and catching up on some much needed rest.
My favorite part of pregnancy so far has been my U/S's...I mean I know I'm pregnant, but it just doesn't hit you the same as it does when you see those little beans alive and kicking in there.
My least favorite part of pregnancy has just been the way I feel. I escaped M/S for the most part but still had aversions, and did / still do just feel crummy. I'm exhausted.
I'd like to join!

No big plans for the weekend. Helping DH install new kitchen floor and a picnic at my parents on Sunday.
Favorite part so far is all the love and support from friends and family as well as the ultrasound we had. Least favorite part is being designated driver!
11 weeks today!
My parents and sister are coming down to visit. They haven't seen our new house yet, so that will be a lot of fun. We are also going to a friend's party on Sunday.
Favorite part of the pregnancy so far has been seeing the baby on the ultrasound and watching it move around.
Least Favorite part has been the fear that something might happen to the baby.

We are going to the beach with my family. This weekend we are announcing the pregnancy to the extended family so we are super excited.
Hearing the heartbeat and seeing the baby.
The exhaustion.

my least favorite part has been the exhaustion combined with the inability to sleep through the night. how obnoxious.

QOTD: We are going to visit my family in MI this weekend and finally tell them I'm pregnant! I can't wait. This will be their first grandkid (and they've been waiting for a long time...).
Favorite part of pregnancy - um, using it as an excuse to eat greasy foods I wouldn't normally eat sometimes, lol. And of course seeing LO on the u/s screen!
Least favorite part - exhaustion and extreme congestion, worries about having a healthy baby (I tend to be a worrier)
We are heading to Hilton Head Island for a relaxing long weekend! We were married there, and haven't been back since our wedding day... so I am really looking forward to it!
My favorite part so far has been taking time and really focusing on me. My health, sleep, pampering myself, etc. I am one of those people who overdoes everything and runs myself into the ground trying to be everything for everyone. It's been nice to take a step back and sleep in some days, take a few days off working out each week, be lazy, not call people back just becuase I am tired and don't feel like talking, not going out drinking then being hungover the next day, and really reflecting on my life and thinking about what type of mom I want to be.
Least favorite part is my horrible pregnancy brain! I am such a flake these days, it's really embarrasing! Otherwise in terms of side effects I have been blessed and am feeling more or less great:)
QOTD: We are going to a B&B two hours away in a little historic town just for a short romantic getaway... We leave after the Buckeyes vs. Navy football game (my in-laws are all huge Ohio State fans!).
Least favourite part: The awful reaction we got from my in-laws after we told them about the baby.. They thought at 25 my husband was too young to have a baby (they had him at 21 and promptly got divorced) and they felt that after one year of marriage it was too soon to have the (albeit surprise) baby.
Favourite part of the pregnancy: My in-laws turning a 180 and getting really excited! Now the MIL is making all the bedding, curtains, etc for baby room and FIL calls every couple of days to check on me and baby!

I am so glad today is Friday and my boss is letting us off early.
QOTD: Once again I have wedding planning for the weekend. I have to go shopping for jewelry, my MOH (sister) dress, and some other stuff. Then I plan on spending Sunday and Monday really cleaning my house.
My favorite part of the pregnancy has been when I get to see the baby on the U/S or when I get to hear the HB on the doppler.
My least favorite would have to be my exhaustion. I'm usually a busy body but lately all I feel like doing is sleeping.

I don't like the morning sickness too much.
This weekend is pretty busy for us. Today I am cleaning our house, tomorrow my DH and I are going to the EMU/Army game, and then heading to my parents lake on Sunday.

Worst part...that I HAVE health insurance but that it doesn't cover jack *** so I haven't been able to afford an ultrasound or get all the testing done that I want until I move and get better insurance. Health care is so ass backwards I'd be better off with no job on welfare

Do you have any plans for the long holiday weekend? No big plans for the weekend. We may go apple picking, which means I may be making apple pie. YUM!
What has been your favorite part of pregnancy so far? By far the ultrasound. I can't wait for our next one next Friday.
Least favorite? Everything else. Haha. Just kidding. I'd have to say feeling fat and being more emotional than normal (everything makes me cry now) would be my least favorite parts.

I'm going to my nephew's football game tonight and have absolutely nothing planned for the rest of the weekend. I couldn't be more excited. DH and I can do whatever we want!
My most fav. part so far has been hearing the baby's heartbeat and seeing it for the first time w/ the u/s.
Least fav. would have to be the exhaustion and constant worry (especially early on) that something was going to go wrong.
QOTD: We are having a yard sale tomorrow to attempt to make some room for the baby. ?On Monday, we are either having a cookout with friends or going to the beach with the family, we haven't decided yet.
Favorite part: Our first u/s (which was the day after we found out we were pregnant.) ?It was amazing to hear the heartbeat and realize that we were really going to be parents.
Least favorite part: The lack of energy I had for a bit. ?I really hate feeling lazy and tired and so it was very hard on me that all I wanted to do was sleep.?
QOTD: DH is working OT this weekend, so I'm going maternity clothes shopping with a friend (due 2 weeks before me) and then resting a lot. I start work on Tuesday after having the past 2.5 months off. 1st attempt at readjusting my sleep schedule today and i was able to crawl out of bed, but i'm not really doing anything.
Favorite part: Sharing the excitement with DH and our families
Least favorite part: not feeling like myself, being tired and achey all the time

My favorite part of the pregnancy has definitely been the u/s, and the least favorite part is the throwing up and the headaches. I can live without those lol.
QOTD: So far, I have no big plans this weekend. DH and his friends are going off-roading tomorrow. Other than that, I don't know.
I love being pregnant. I guess my favorite part so far was seeing the LO for the first time on the u/s and hearing his/her heart beat. My least favorite has been all the nausea and being exhausted.

Good morning! This weekend I am headed to a football game, then doing a lot of school work (I'm a teacher).
Best part of pregnancy so far: having the NT scan, getting GREAT results and seeing the little one finally look like a baby and see it move all around! It has also been so fun to see DH get involved and read up on all things related to the baby's development and what is happening with me.
Least favorite: Getting bigger, but not looking pregnant yet. I am definitely thicker, have put on a few pounds, but am just looking like I've gained weight, but no bump yet...can't wait for the cute baby bump!

QOTD: Nothing too big. Having some friends over for game night tonight and maybe another set of friends some other time this weekend. We may go to Sea World Monday. It's like 15 minutes from our house. We'll see.
Favorite part of the pregnancy so far: Hearing my baby's heartbeat. Least favorite: Trying to keep it a secret until the 2nd trimester. Ugh! Almost there, though!
Feeling pretty good so far today. Yesterday was rough. I was pretty sick most of the morning, but I had to work anyway. I craved chili all morning, so I ordered some for lunch, but it didn't really taste like the chili my Dad makes, which is what I was craving. Making a big old pot of it "the right way" this weekend though.
We've thought most of this week that DH was going to have to Afghanistan for 13 months, but finally yesterday it got changed. Pretty happy about that!
QOTD: My closest friends from college and I are all meeting up in Pittsburgh for the weekend (our alma mater!) We're going shopping for the day on Saturday and going out for a nice dinner together Saturday night. I'm excited to actually see them and not just email or talk on the phone. It's the first time all of us will be together since our Graduation.
My favorite part so far has been the U/S. It's an amazing feeling to see and hear such a little strong heartbeat. It's a reminder that something truly great is going on inside!
For me the worst part has been the exhaustion. For awhile there I was sleeping 14 hours a night plus napping throughout the day. I felt like I had no life there for awhile!
Weekend plans--Maternity clothes shopping and an early b-day dinner for me with DH's side of the family. We might also go look at flooring since we're going to be replacing the carpet in all the bedrooms. I'd like to clear out the nursery and get it prepped for the new floors.
Favorite part of the pregnancy--DH's response to it, getting to see Peanut on the ultrasounds and listening to the h/b, and starting to really feel a connection w/ Peanut.
Least favorite--the nausea and m/s and how tired I've been for the past 7-8 weeks.
QOTD- I'm having my two little cousins over for a tour of the city and a sleepover. DH and I are pretty excited to show them the sights!
I have to say seeing my baby on ultrasound bouncing and wiggling around, has been the best part of the pregnancy so far. It made it real. The worst part, the all day nausea from weeks 6-10. It's getting much better, but I still have bouts a few times a week. The extreme exhaustion is a close second.

QOTD: No big plans here. My cousin is getting married tonight so we are going to her wedding. Otherwise we will be watching LSU beat Washington tomorrow night (Geaux Tigers!) and then doing school and house work on Sunday and Monday.
Fav part of pregnancy--not worrying about every little calorie going into my mouth!
Least fav part--feeling like crap every day! I am sooo over the backaches, headaches and nausea.

Plans for the weekend - hopefully relaxing and getting a mani/pedi tomorrow. Sunday - big family BBQ. Favorite part of pregnancy so far is just imaging another baby in the house I guess and excited for my daughter that she will be a big sister! Least favorite - nausea, metal taste, etc that I didnt have with 1st PG, and definitely starting to put the weight on a lot faster this time!
We're starting to renovate our kitchen this weekend! The cabinets arrive on Saturday and have to be built while DH tiles one half of the floor (so we can move the appliances that direction to get to the other half of the floor). Hopefully we can get all the demo done and the patching started so that next week we can remove the base cabinets and finish the floor. I can't believe we're doing this:) Told DH we need to move quick because the time is limited while I'm small enough to still help him..hehe...
Favorite part of pregnancy was hearing the HB for the first time on the doppler (and every time since then:) )
Least favorite was being naseous all the time in the first tri and now these second trimester headaches...brutal!

As far as this weekend, one of my very best friends who is 6 months pregnant is coming down for the weekend to have her baby shower! I am so excited! We are going to a Czech festival and then baby shower goodness! Yay!

No big plans for this weekend. My sister plays college volleyball, so we're going to visit her and see a game tomorrow. Other than that, nothing really. We'll probably just relax around the house, maybe do a little shopping.
