To shop or not to shop?

This is a serious question.

I have a 20% off entire purchase coupon that expires on the 7th for use at either the GAP or Banana Republic outlet stores.

Do I make a special trip and find some stuff to buy even though I don't need anything?  What a ridiculous thing to have such a strong internal struggle over.

    Do you have to spend a certain amount to get the 20% off?

    I would only make the trip if you get 20% off no matter what you spend.

    That happends to me a lot...I get coupons where you have to spend a certain amount. Then I can't find stuff I like, so then I can't use the coupon b/c I didn't spend enough!

    I am having the same problem.  I have a 20% entire purchase for gymboree and carters but I don't really need to buy anything at the time.  I am not sure if I should just buy stuff since I have the coupons plus there are a lot of discounts because it is labor day.  I hope you get more answers.
