Yes. ?Just don't overdue it. ?Which is what a doctor would say about any exercise. ?If you get tired take a break, and drink plenty of water while using it.
An elliptical is (I believe) considered to be less stress then walking. ?And pg ladies are always being told to walk.
As a matter of fact, the only thing I've heard about exercise while pg from a doctor is nothing where you might fall (ie: horseback riding) and nothing that you weren't doing before pg. ??
I use one at the gym 4 times a week, my OB told me to make sure I'm drinking enough water. i did notice that I get short of breath easier, so I can't do the inclines of 8 and 10 that I used to do, I have to do 6 and briefly 8's.
Yeah, why is that? I am the same way...I get out of breath easier, or at least it seems like it! Are you guys lifting weights at all? Do you know if that's safe too? I mean, not hard core lifting, just for toning... what are your thoughts on that?

I lift free weights. It's fine as long as you aren't seriously overdoing it.

I think you have to gauge your level of fitness and health. If you typically do the elliptical 5 days a week for 60 mins, then certainly continue but only do it for 30 mins at a lower intensity.
Honestly, I am still running 3-4 miles several times a week (now interchange with jogging and speed walking if I get winded), kickboxing 2 times a week, still lifting 8-10 lb weights, play tennis, ride my road bike, and do the elliptical as well. I know some people think I am overdoing it, but I was in tip top shape BP, and am pretty athletic. I am sure as my belly grows these things will become uncomfortable, so I will modify at that point. Just listen to your body and slow down if you know you need to!
