im an obsessive compulsive returner :/

in 3rd Trimester

so i know this sounds HORRIBLE but...

i had to have my first babyshower at 24 weeks bc my sister who moved to hawaii wanted to throw one for me before she left. at the time, i was not aware that we would decide to CD, and wasnt real sure of anything really, but i had to put stuff on my registry. now that we've decided to CD and use glass bottles (were EFFers full fledged now... and getting worse by the day), i keep going through everything i got and returning stuff to target... and i LOVE it! i think its so much fun to take all this stuff i thought i had wanted back, get the store credit, and then buy fun things that i want at this moment. im such a nutcase sometimes, i just thought id share :)

    My DH totally accuses me of doing the same thing, not just with baby things!  My shower is in two weeks and I'm sure i'll be really bad after that!  I got a lot of great nearly new hand me downs from my cousin and I have bought a lot of things when I see great deals and at garage sales and stuff.  I had to put a lot of things on my registery that I don't necessarily need, but I had to put some things on there!  I'm looking forward to returning some things that I don't need, even if I just get store credit to buy diapers!!!

    I don't think it's bad, especially since you're trying to use more eco friendly items. I sometimes hang out on the EFF board, how'd things go today with your business?

    oh goodness! i am sooo excited about the business! i find out the official word on the small business start up loan on thursday (seems like FOREVER)... the commercial loan officer im dealing with is taking a "long weekend" so he wont even be back to look over credit reports, etc. and make a decision until next week... but im sure it will be a YES! he was super impressed, and im overly excited, thanks for asking!!

    Ive been the same way with my baby stuff. Mostly because people didnt think about sizing and how it would relate to seasons. I got a lot of short sleeved things sized for the middle of winter time! But I returned a huge box of wipes and diapers because I decided to CD also!

    I could have been, but dh started taking things out of the packages and such and putting them away, so luckily i wasn't able to do that.
