I just wanted to give you a big ((((HUG))))))....I'm sorry you are still having feeding issues..

Re: Istaylor73

  • Thanks!

The hardest and longest part of all that we have been through/will go through is the eating and sensory issues.  I now know that everything else will work out on it's own for each of them, and that they will be okay.  It's just so exhausting.  I never ever thought having kids would be so difficult. Then again, I was always expecting to have only one full term healthy baby.  LOL!

  • I know you will get through the feeding/sensory issue. I didn't have to "put up" with it nearly as long as you are and I was bawling everyday..I am greatful that Cooper isn't having problems anymore b/c I don't know how I would do it being pregnant again. I am praying for 39 weeks. :)
  • I will pray for 39 weeks for you too.  How are you feeling so far?
  • I am feeling better I was real nauseous in the beginning..

I have a thought about your boys I saw you said that the only thing they like in there mouth is a pacifier. Our Speech path. had us dip the paci. in the food and give him a little that way. That way they don't get nervous b/c it is something they like..but when they get defensive STOP

  • We did that for a short time but they would get upset so we stopped.  Then two weeks ago the boys got roseola and six teeth each all at once and refused to take the paci at all ever since.  I miss our paci's so much.  *sigh*

We have other things we've been working with but nothing was as great at soothing them as their paci's.

  • Sorry...Email me if you ever need to talk..I'm sorry. I know it doesn't help but I am SOrry
