Do you still have your lovey from when you were a kid?

I had a glo-worm that I slept with forever. I packed it away, but held onto it. I just couldn't bring myself to get rid of it.

Now DS has a few stuffed animals that belonged to DH and I, but he really has no interest in Glo-worm and I don't really feel attached to it at all anymore. I'm considering giving it to Goodwill.

I'm wondering if this is a good move or part of a nesting-instinct-inspired cleaning purge that I will later regret.

Don't get rid of it! The new glow worms just aren't the same. DS has one and LOVES it but I wish I still had my old one to give him since I really really loved that thing!

It's at my parents' house. I had a pink stuffed bunny that was dubbed "Stinky Bunny" by my dad because I spit up, threw up and peed on it. It was my lovey until I was about 2 1/2.

Save it! When I was three my mom was in the hosptial for a month so I was shipped around to different relatives because of my dad's work schedule and one night I threw up on it and my aunt threw it out. I was devastated.

My mom recently gave me my lovey (an old ragged blanket). It was made for me by my mom to match my curtains in my room. I have it in a bin, but I don't think I'll ever do anything with it. Probably toss it (along with the rest of the bin contents) if we have another baby someday to make room.

I still have my purple cat puff-a-lump. I got it when I was five and slept with it until DH and I first moved in together.

Now I have it in one of DD's toy baskets. It's completely flattened out, but I could never get rid of it!

I had a blanket that I loved. When I was 7-8, I decided that I didn't need it anymore & cut it up. My mom saved one of the pieces for me which now resides in my nightstand.

Yup, I had a blanket that was the size of a twin bed. By the time I stopped carrying it around it was the size of about 6inX6in. I keep it folded in my jewlery box.

I have a teddy bear from my first Christmas and it still plays Christmas songs too when you squeeze the hand. ?It's in DS's tox box now, and I'm so glad I held onto it!

I had a doggie and I would suck my thumb and rub the tag on my upper lip. The poor thing is hanging by threads now, but it is in my moms hope chest!

Save it. I still have my BearBear and he's currently in a shadowbox with a picture of me when I was about four holding him. He's threadbare and holey, but he's been around the world and back - I wouldn't get rid of him for ANY reason.

I still have mine. It's a pretty sad looking teddy bear. You can tell the eyes fell out a lot because they are all lopsided and creepy. Peyton doesn't seem to mind though. She plays with it.

gosh i hope so! since it was my thumb! proud thumb sucker until the age of 10! sheesh! oh and i too had a gloworm. i wish i still had my scanner because there is a funny pic of me with my gloworm at Brownie day camp. it was my bff.
