Had my first Dr. Appt today

So DH and I get there for my 11:15 appt. We found out that my doctor was stuck in surgery and wouldn't be in until noon, but there were people in front of me. Ugh. Luckily, they had an opening at 2pm, so we left and came back.

Once we finally got in to see him, he did a vaginal u/s. We got to see the sac and the little bean of a baby. Right now, the baby is measuring 6mm and had a strong heartbeat of 165bpm. My updated due date is April 28.

I go back on October 5 (DH's birthday) for blood work, family history, and another u/s.

One thing that made me happy was my doctor said he likes to do a lot of u/s. He said that insurance will only pay for 2, but he thinks it is good for the patients to see the u/s so he doesn't mind doing a lot of them. Yay! Big Smile
