  The yam on a stick doesn't sound too bad. But deep fried butter?? Who comes up with this stuff really? Next year it'll be deep fried sneakers.

  haha...we totally rewound the tivo last night to make sure we heard "deep fried butter"  yuk!  Give me a heart attack right there standing in the food line.  They have flavored kind - ugh!

  I had no idea the state fair was all about fried anything & everything.  We're gonna check it out when my sis is in from oot.

  I'm pretty sure I remember Paula Deen (big surprise, right?!) making fried butter balls on her show once. Wonder if it's the same or a similar concept. They said it tasted good on the show, I think it was Paula's Party, but I'm  not willing to be a taste tester for that one!
