bad day, cycle cancelled, taking a break

I didn't respond to this round of clomid, only one follie at 10 on CD20 so they cancelled this cycle. They put me on provera (which I've never had to use before). They want to start my on Follistim for the next go around.

I think I'm more bummed this time around now since we have to take a break in our attempts to get PG b/c I'll be studying/taking a bar exam next July. I really want to keep trying but out of fairness to myself and my husband for sacrificing so much over the last few years, we need to wait until that window is past. Our RE's office suggested not starting up again until January...that seems so far away...it makes me sad.

Really bummed...ugh!

RE recommended going on BC during the break...I'm anovulatory so I'm considering it since it will lessen my frequent/haphazard cycles...

Any tips on Provera and waiting out the break in trying would be much appreciated...TIA.

I'm so sorry. How frustrating to have to take a break, but sounds neccessary if you're taking the bar. Jan. does seem far off but with the holidays it will hopefully go by quickly. good luck!
