Small poll, Laundry or Yard work!?

Ok I'm asking because I am so lazy when it comes to laundry and would much rather cut the grass!!

My problem is folding it and getting it back up stairs!!! LOL

  • Laundry for sure!  It is way too friggin hot outside.  My azz stays inside doing the laundry while the hubs sweats his off outside.

I like yard work, just not when it is 100 deg outside.

  • I hate both equally. I rather cut the grass though then do laundry. Cutting the grass I am getting exercise.

  • I vote for neither! I would love to sit on my fat ass while H does both! ;) haha ok but really...as much as I HATE laundry...I would for sure pick that over yardwork. I see how much it takes out of H...and I can only imagine I would be a whiny brat during the entire process.

And ya know...its not actually doing the laundry that pisses me off...its putting it all away!! Sometimes Id rather eat soap then fold and put stuff on hangers! UGH!

I hate laundry with a passion. I loathe it. I send it out to be done at $1.50/lb. But, because I am lazy (and used to work retail) I usually bring about 40lbs at a time!

LOL I bet they cringe when they see you walk in

  • Laundry, hands down, no contest!

I am still sore because I let my husband talk me into tearing out our front yard last weekend. This weekend we have to put down sod. I hate yard work, FML!

  • Definitely laundry.  I hate it, but its better then dying in the heat.  And I make DH carry the baskets upstairs if they are heavy.

This is how I see it!

  • It's funny, I love doing chores, cleaning my house and even doing yard work.  But there is one thing I despise and that is LAUNDRY!
  • I hate both, but hate cutting the grass more! I do the laundry, and DH helps fold :)

Same here. I don't mind throwing it in the washer. I even have the hamper with 4 sections so I don't even need to separate anything out. I just hate putting it away!

Yes exactly this is how I feel. I just hate putting it back! I find it pointless sending it out since I would still have to put it back!!

  • Lawn...unless it has to be bagged, then give me laundry!

  • Laundry. Unless you call watering the grass the only yard work, otherwise I say that. Setting up the sprinkler is pretty easy. Big Smile

  • Yard work.  DH and I have a deal, he cuts the grass (push mower) and I weedeat with my little battery-powered weedeater.  I love to weedeat because you see the results right away and at least it stays nice for a week or more.  With laundry it seems to never end.  I am great at washing and drying, not so great with hanging up and putting away so we always end up with huge piles of clean (wrinkled) clothes.
