I spilled my pee

Had an appointment this morning and, as normal, was sent to the restroom right away to fill up my pee cup. I filled it up really full this time on accident and then got some around the outside. I decided to try to wipe off the edges while still sitting on the toilet and instead of just putting down the cup and getting the toilet paper I decided to juggle the very full cup and try to get the toilet paper. Well, as I'm sure you can guess from my subject line, I was not successful. I didn't drop the cup, but a big amount slopped over the edge onto my underware (only a couple drips thankfully), shoes and floor. Freakin grand! Confused The midwife was probably wondering what was taking me so long in there because after I got the cup cleaned up I had to clean up the floor and my shoes. I wiped everything down with alcohol wipes so hopefully I got it good and clean.

I couldn't help but think, as I was moping up my own urine from the floor, that in just a few months I could be dealing with a lot messier situations.

    i still havent mastered peeing in the cup. i alway get some on my hand :(

    That portion of the visit is so annoying. I can barely bend over to look in-between my legs to make sure the cup is even catching anything anymore.

    I did. They said I won't get my results back for a day or two, but that no news is good news, so I hope my phone stays nice and quiet over the next couple of days.

    I discovered at my last appointment that I definitely can't aim anymore. It's a challenge!

    Aww...don't feel bad.  At my last appointment, I completely dropped the cup as I was putting it in that little box between the restroom and nurses station.  Thankfully I hadn't been able to fill it too full but I sure had a mess to clean up and no sample to provide.  I had to tell the nurse she wasn't getting a sample that day and they may want to mop the floor lol
