My classroom buts up to the stairwell and I have my back door open. My desk is right by the door. I am minding my business and "working" next thing I know a student quietly comes down the stairs and claps as loud as he possibly could. I about crapped my pants... I gave hima demerit and as I am writting in out I had no clue how to describe the behavior so I put inappropriate loud behavior coming to class. LOL because Clapping to scare the teacher sounds so petty. But, that was indeed all he was trying ot do was indeed scare me.

He succeeded. Demerit or not. Point to Drake Teacher none

That description works since you can't write "behaving like a jerk" on the demerit. I'm a teacher and probably would have done the same thing.
