Any OB rec. in Maryville/Edwardsville area?

I need to find a new OB.  DH and I will be TTC in January.  Does any one have any recommendations for doctors in the Maryville, Edwardsville, Troy area?  Are there any docs that I should avoid?  This will be my first time delivering at Anderson Hospital as well (as I had my DS somewhere else).  Does anyone have any experience with Anderson?  Good/Bad?

 Thanks for any help!

  • I sent you a message with my info in it. I will be delivering this baby at Anderson, and she's my first, so I'm not really any help on that one!

  • I grew up in Edwardsville and my whole family saw Dr Max Eakin. The office is located on 159 across from WalMart in Glen Carbon. I know Max does my mom's well woman exams, and I always loved him. I delivered my son at St Johns, so I'm no help on Anderson, although from what I've heard it is a nice place to deliver as long as your baby is full term and healthy, and nothing goes wrong. So prettty much the same caveats as at any of the metro-east hospitals.

  • I delivered at Anderson and loved the hospital.  The nurses were  great and made me feel comfortable the entire time.  My OB is tina gingrich whose office is also located in maryville.  Overall I was happy with them... there were a couple of dr's and  PA who could take turns seeing you or you could see the ob.  It was great bc anytime I was sick during and post pregnancy they would get me in the same day, they would answer any questions I called with and were really good to work with.

I would most definately recommend my daughters pedi who is also in maryville now.  They are AMAZING!  It's under young pediatrics and they are great!

If you have any questions, let me know!  GL!

  • I have heard alot of great things about Dr Dalla Riva!  He is in Edwardsville
