How long did it take for your hcg levels to get back to zero or under 5?

    14 days after my 6w5d loss (hcg 3,000) and 18 days after my 10w5d loss (hcg 50,000).

    it really depends on how high you were to begin with, and if you were having a natural m/c or D&C, etc.

    Days to weeks, really.

    I had a d&c at 8 weeks 6 days.  I don't know what my levels were to begin with but finally after 7 weeks after the d&c they tested my HCG levels since AF hadn't arrived yet (but I bled and spotted the entire seven weeks after the d&c).  They were at 8.  So, I go back again on Thursday to test them again.  I am pretty sure the dr didn't get everything, which is why it's taken so long for my levels to drop.

    m/c on 8/22 (not sure what my level was)... as of Monday my HCG was at 85 so I have to go back next Tuesday for more blood work.  Hoping that's the last time.

    BFP Dec 09 - A&J born in August 2010 at 37w, 6d
    BFP Sept 11 - ectopic pregnancy/left tube removed

    MY OBGYN does not do levels. i had a mc on aug 18th. I am ovulating now so period should come in 2 weeks.

    I had a m/c on Aug. 1st...exactly 1 month ago today (8+ weeks) and as of monday I was still at a 7.  I'm still spotting but very little...I'm VERY ready to move forward.  My Dr. told me that she believes that my levels will be around 0 next week and that I don't have to come back in. 

     Thanks for posting this, I was wondering the same thing.

    I had a D&C at 8w4d (baby measuring 6w3d) and had +HPT at 4wks, -HPT at 5wks.

    I had a natural m/c at 7w3d.  Three and a half weeks to get down to less than 5.  AF arrived two weeks later.
