For those who have had LO's first haircut...

how old was your LO?  I think we need to get DS's trimmed soon because it is growing over his ears.  That's really the only part that looks weird and too long, and I'm constantly tucking it behind his ears.  But I'm kind of sad that it's already time for this!  He's just growing up so fast!

    My DH is a barber and surprisingly he didn't want to give our LO a haircut but it had to be done for the reason of me having to tuck it constantly, and if I'm not mistaken he got it around 9months, he just got his second one this past Sunday.

    We will probably getting his hair cut here pretty soon...for the same reason as you.  I am constantly tucking it behind his ears, it doesn't look bad everywhere else, though.

    Ian was 7mos I think His hair was so long he had a big knot in the back. DH trimmed the knot out then cleaned up the rest of his hair. It immediately grew back in thicker and softer.

    9.5 months I think.  It looks worse now than it did prior to the hair cut.  He needs another one badly but if we do it now it will be long again for his birthday and these cuts aren't cheap!

    My LO was 4 months and has already had his 2nd hair cut last weekend.  It grows like a curly aftro.  The first went better than the second one b/c he wasn't as aware of what was happening then.  This weekend he cried and the lady had a much harder time.
