So I was talking to a lady at the grocery store today. We got on the subject of diapers. She proceeded to tell me that she only changes her kids diapers when they pooped because it saves money and they are trying to pay their house off. I was like so if they don't poop for two days you keep them in the same diaper? She said "well, of course they are just so expensive!"

How stupid, those poor kids!! I change my dd everytime i notice she is wet, and freak out even if she is slightly red.

This made me so mad I told her that what she does is unsanitary and that its just plain wrong, I feel sorry for her poor babies!

Aw DH's grandma works in the church nursery and some lady told her the same thing. His grandma changed the baby any way and said the baby had the worse diaper rash she had ever seen. That is just so, so wrong.

Seriously!?! I'd think that at the very least that if the kid wet the diaper enough then it'd explode... or fall off. Either way, I wouldn't want to clean that up. And yes... poor kids! Would she ever consider not changing her underwear just to save on the cost of the water to wash them? Same difference... but MUCH WORSE!!
