Hoag Classes

I was going to sign up for the "Prepared Childbirth" class at Hoag, but was wondering if anyone highly suggests any of the other Hoag classes as well.

    The baby safety is supposed to be a great class. I ended up taking them at pacificord.com. They were free and I really liked the instructor.

    If you are planning to nurse, I would sign up for the breastfeeding class as well, and make sure your DH goes with you!  You will need his help in the beginning, and he can also help you remember what was said.

    We took all of them (prepared childbirth, baby first aid/cpr and breastfeeding) and they were all very worthwhile!

    I took the childbirth class privately at Hoag and thought it was well worth the money to have a one-time private class. it really focused on our questions and needs. We also took the Baby Care and Baby Safety classes and took away a few good lessons from both. Try to book with Andrea if you can. She instructed our private class and our Baby Care class and was GREAT.  We took BF classes at The Pump Station in LA.
