Hi ladies!
I've still been lurking around, just not posting so much. We're back to meetings at school (though today is a day that's 1-9pm, so I get the morning off, although from the looks of e-mail, most people are actually at school...jerks), and it's just been crazy. We had to move up a floor in our school building bc another school took half the second floor, and we STILL have no bathrooms on one of our floors. SO much isn't done yet, it's frightening. I still have a lot to plan, and a lot of set-up work in my classroom. I guess I should be at school, too.
Secondly, I hate coming off BC/my body right now. My face looks like I'm 16 again. I'm on CD44...I'm four BFNs in, and DH is starting to talk like he would actually want a baby right now. I don't know if we'd be ready, but who knows if my body would cooperate if we did decide that! Arg.
One good thing is that I feel more healthy than I have in a long time, so that makes me happy.
I miss interacting with all of you! Hugs!
Re: Been a little MIA, a little frustrated with life
I hope everything gets worked out for you soon!
As for coming off BC... I went through the same thing and my pimples are finally clearing up. I never had pimples really and I got them on my shoulders and neck when I came off the BCP so i was weirding me out. I had long cycles at first too, which is normal, but 4 months off BCP I am starting to get back to normal. Don't worry too much about it yet, some people go 60+ days after getting off the pill.

Hey Laura! I feel your pain with school. My district is opening 2 new schools this year and I'm moving into one of them. We were finally able to get in last week to start setting up our classroom. The school was a disaster zone, but it is looking much better now.
Hopefully your body will start adjusting to being off BC. It is not a fun transition, but is worth it IMO.
