Please help me pick my bedding!

I was dead-set on bedding but now that I am on bedrest with WAY too much time on my hands, I am not sure it is exactly what I want.  I'm also not very decor-savvy and after seeing some of your nurseries, you guys definitely are.  Please help!
 
The nursery is painted in Behr Water Sprout green with a white chair rail and chocolate brown below the rail.  Our furniture is dark dark cherry and the carpet is neutral.  All the trim in the room is white.

https://carters.kidslineinc.com/products/collections/tall_tales.php -- I'm afraid with dark furniture and the brown under the chair rail this will make the room look too heavy and small.
 
Any input is so, so appreciated!  We really like geometric shapes and not matchy-matchy animal sets so if you have come across any boy bedding that you LOVE, this bedrest mamma would love to see it.
