Studios for portraits in FFX area

Has anyone used any studios in the Fairfax area for baby portriats? I've gotten a few mailers from the picture people and portrait innovations which don't charge a sitting fee so I figured I'd try them out. Any experience with these or other studios such as JCP or Sears?

    I've been to the Portrait Innovations in Fair Lakes.  They did a decent job and we got a lot of prints for a low price.  I've never used them for baby photos - just family pictures.  I would suggest making an appointment.  We had an appointment for a Saturday morning and it was still nuts in there.  I imagine that weekdays are much better!

    We used Picture People and they did a great job.  The photographer was fabulous at getting DD (4 months) to smile.  Definitely make an appointment.  It is chaos there on the weekends.
