How do you pronounce...

Maeve?

I see a lot of people have it on their list and was wondering how you say it. Is it like Maude with a V? Someone clue me in!

    I would pronounce it Mave - like pave. But I've never heard it IRL.

    Exactly it rhymes with pave. Maude with a v would be the like the color Mauve.

    Like pave,but with an M.

    I heard it and then spelled it out Mave. I prefer Mave over Maeve.

    I've also heard it pronounced as "Mah-vay" and "Meeve".  It's a just name, but I'm inclined to steer clear of anything that causes this much confusion about pronunciation.  JMO.
