finally made progress.. crib up and tree on the wall.. pip

I had posted yesterday that we got our carpets installed. I am so excited. Dh and his parents put the crib together before I got home. I knoew they would. They had the door closed so when I walked in I knew it was together. They had the changing table and the glider all where I wanted it.

We had to move it since I was doing something by the changing table and kept backing into the ottoman - so we did a little rearranging.

Last night we hung the tree decal and leaves. My bedding set also had some decals that went wth it. I used some of the animals in the room as well.

    Wow, it looks so nice!  If you don't mind me asking, where did you get your decals?  We live on base and can't paint, but I would love to have something cute up on the walls.

    I got my decal on ebay. We didn't want to spend a ton of $$ and I wanted something "different." It was really reasonable and much different than the others I had seen. At first I thought it was going to be a little tropical b/c of the colors of the leaves and the birds. I didn't put my birds up and I actually think its more playful with the colorful leaves.

    The seller was good and it was quick shipment - even though came from overseas. It went on very easy and had no major issues with it. There was no real directions but it went up easy. Just a diagram with the numbered branches.

    Thanks so much everyone. Its funny b/c I have been looking at that blue room for over a month and I couldn't wait to start seeing it come together. Its a light blue from Lowes (color matched by HD) I think its called Morning fog or Morning breeze. have to look again which one.

    I will be adding choc brown panels hanging on either side of the windows and the valance that goes with the bedding. Need to wash the bedding in order to get it on the bed - will do that in the coming weeks.
