By the time my first trimester is over my sanity will be gone and I've only just started.
Those who are under six weeks, do you feel cramps, heaviness, or twinges some days and some days hardly anything? I've been having those feelings and today nothing really and it's making me worry. What? Now I want cramps? My body cannot win with me I'm telling you.
Re: Twinges and cramps question.
I have felt twinges and very very light cramps (nowhere near my period cramps), but not all of the time and not every day.
Yes. They worry me and give my comfort all at the same time. I haven't had a day when I didn't have at least one cramp, but they are just every once in awhile. I like to think it's the baby demanding more room and things doing whatever they need to do.
From the research I've done you don't have to worry unless it is occuring with spotting or is severe pain.....can anybody confirm this?
Don't feel bad. I felt the same way you did. Pregnancy makes me paranoid and obsessive, I tell you.
Cramps, twinges, heaviness ... all normal. Your uterus is stretching out. You should only be concerned if the cramps are severe (like, doubled over in pain) and/or accompanied by spotting or bleeding.
Symptoms come and go. Some days you'll feel completely normal, then you'll feel miserable. Remember - symptoms are not an indicator of a healthy pregnancy. I felt "normal" for the majority of my first trimester. Then, at weeks 10 1/2 through 11 1/2, I was sick as a dog. Now ... I'm back to feeling normal. It's like my body can't make up it's mind.

Well that's a relief. If only there was some sort of standard indicator that let's you know the baby is in there and it's fine. I don't think I'll be comfortable until I have my first ultrasound and hear the heartbeat.
bbetson-my doc said the exact same thing. I was asking him about cramping last week and he basically said cramping is okay, light bleeding is okay (in your first tri), but bleeding and cramping together is not okay!
