uuugh. that would make me just sick with worry too. Perhaps his "very serious" is still something that's treatable. Clotting factors are serious, but are treatable with simple things... etc.
hopefully they can get you in soon????? GL. let us know what comes of it.

I am so sorry. Of course you're nervous, a phone call like that would freak me out. Like the pp said hopefully it is something treatable and your doctor just feels it would be better to discuss different options with you personally. I'm glad you're getting in soon and I hope the appointment goes well!
IUI # 1 on 1/19, Beta 2/1 = BFN, Hysteroscopy on 2/15= 5 polyps removed, and cervix cleared, IUI #2 on 4/15 = BFP, Beta#1 on 4/30 @ 15 dpiui= 279, Beta #2 on 5/9 @24dpiui = 10,154, U/S on 8/5 = TWO GIRLS! Born 10/16 at 28 weeks.
I'm glad you can get in quickly. I hate when doctors leave you in suspense like that. I hope it's a fixable problem and they just want to talk toyou about options/treatments in person. Hang in there. ((hugs))
I came back positive for two of the biggies (clotting disorder wise) after my RPL but with treatment and extra monitoring - my little guy was born safely and is doing great! I know A LOT about clotting disorders and can also tell you where to find more info - I did hella research when I found out about mine! So if it turns out that is the issue - let me know and we can talk. Hang in there!!!
Wheee!

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope they can get you in soon. They should give you an appointment this week after a message like that, it's only fair. Good luck.
ETA: I see you're going in Thursday, that's good! I hope you get encouraging news. Sometimes answers are scary but also a step in the right direction, treatment-wise! Lots of luck. And I hope these next two days pass quickly for you!!
After 7 failed IUIs, IVF w/ ICSI worked!!
I am thankful every day for my miracle after infertility.
Honestly, I was almost relieved when my RLP came back abnormal. I wasn't sure how many more losses I could take and knowing that there was an issue that could be treated made me feel so much better.
