Pediatrician in Naperville/Aurora area?

I am just starting the search for Pediatricians, and I am looking for recommendations in the Naperville/Aurora area. I have BCBSIL for insurance, so my network is pretty large.

Do you have any suggestions?

Also, should we plan to do a pre-natal consultation with these doctors before the baby arrives? I don't know what the protocol is on that one.

    Hi, I'm in Aurora, and the Dreyer Medical Group is awesome!  They have so many doctors to choose from.  There are Dreyer locations in east Aurora on Ogden 2 miles from Rush Copley and two west Aurora locations.  I don't have a pediatrician to recommend yet, but I have an appointment set up for a meet and greet this Saturday with a pediatrician who's highly recommended by my OB and my neighbor who uses him.  So, to answer your question, yes you need to set up a preliminary meeting with a couple pediatricians before choosing one.  Google Dreyer Medical, and look at their website.  They have pics, educational background, and  info on experience on all their doctors.  Hope that helps.  If you want, you can PM after Saturday if you want to know how the meet and greet went.

    My daughter goes to the Children's Health Partners on 95th and Book.  She is not assigned a pediatrician, but is seen by all those within the practice.  I highly recommend them.  PM if you want more info.

    We use Dr. Lue at 1-2-3 Pediatrics and are very happy with him.

    We are using Dupage Medical Group Pediatrics. They have offices in Naperville, Wheaton, Glen Ellyn.   We don't have an assigned doctor but the ones we have seen so far have been good.  I am doing an alternate vaccination schedule and the practice has been flexible with that.  I also appreciate that they are open 7 days a week.  Especially since we went this past Sunday when my DD was running a fever.
