I have a cold..

And DH has a man-cold. Guess who's sicker? Big Smile

 

Seriously, though. It's just a yucky cold. Am I supposed to call the OB or anything? I'm coughing gross stuff, but that's it. If I wasn't pg, I wouldn't think twice about it. No need to do anything, right?

    Does the stuff you are coughing up have any color to it?  If it's not clear then that could possibly mean an infection that should be treated with an antibiotic.

    Yuck, I hate having a cold.  I'd say let your doctor know, either at your next visit or over the phone, just because doctors like to know that stuff.

    Sorry you're not feeling well. My OB gave me the green light for meds but DH wouldn't let me take them so I just kept taking hot showers to eliminate the congestion. I also got a lot of sleep. I was better in a few days. Feel better soon!

    I would call the dr.  Recently a stuffy nose turned into a horrible sinus infection with in 2 days and I had to go on a z-pack.  Since we are pregnant our immune systems are not quite as strong because baby is taking so much from us.  Rest up and take care of yourself.  If you are not better in the morning I would call !

    I had a nasty cold during my first tri. I was told that I couldn't take anything since it was so early. I was miserable and it happened to Valentine's Day weekend, too. Sad

    You might be safe at 12 weeks but call the doc to see what you can do.
