Sorry, realized this came off very b*tchy sounding and that wasn't my intent. I just have a hard time when people give their children names that are going to make the child's life more difficult.

It looks like Mom and Dad (in this case celebrity parents) opened the dictionary and pointed. If you want this affect then do it yourself rather than mimic a "name" you feel has been paved by a celeb.

I agree it is a word but Everly is beautiful. I told my husband and he said it was Beverly with out the B so now he is calling our kids their names with out the first letter to make fun of me..

I actually really like this name! Maybe it is bc my DS's name is Evan and it is similar. But I also don't know which celebrity named their kid Ever, so it doesnt sound copycat to me.

I didn't realize it was a celeb baby name.....I just met a woman the other day named Ever and I thought it was interesting. I honestly don't think it's any worse than naming your child after a city, month, or day of the week : )

Kids are gonna get made fun of no matter what! If it's not their name than it will be their last name or the fact that they are short, tall, fat, or skinny. My friend was Ryan and he was Cryin' Ryan. I was Laura Snora. I wouldn't worry too much about this.
