polyp on your cervix?

in 1st Trimester
Last night at my first u/s my doc mentioned that I had a small polyp on my cervix...she said it was "common" and can occur during pregnancy. Has anyone else heard of this?

    Honestly, no. But I would trust your dr. If she said it was common, then it prob is. GL :)

    Actually, I was told the same thing at my u/s last week.  The u/s tech said it's very common.

    I have one w/this pregnancy--found out about 2 wks ago.  My dr said they usually remove it but cuz I'm pg she's just gonna leave it alone;  I guess removing it can cause bleeding and she doesn't want me to worry.  She said it may or may not grow much and that it's nothing to worry about.  She was DD's OB too so I trust her.
