What size diapers is your ~1 yr old in?

I stopped buying size 4 pampers because they seemed to be getting snug and I didn't want to end up with a ton of leftovers - but the 5's I just opened seem a bit big? Is anyone else's 1 yr old in size 5s? My friend's 2 yr old is in 5!

Nope, DD is still in Huggies size 4 (has been for a really long time). My friend's son is about 26 lbs and 32 inches tall, he's still in 4 Pampers.

DS has been in 5s since he was about 10M, and he's not huge by any means (maybe 22lbs, 32 inches now). he's in 6's overnight. after this box, i'm considering moving him up to 6's bc i think the 5s are looking small and i don't want to wind up with leftovers....

DD wears 4's at home and 5's when my mom watches her (only because they were leftover from my niece and she wants to use them up). She's been in 4's since she was 6 months old because the 3's weren't holding all of her pee. lol

We're in 5's here and have been for a few months. DS is tall...he could probably do a 4, but the 5's are just much better for his length.

We're still in 3s (Pampers Baby Dry), but I'm thinking of trying out 4s after this box is used up. I bought a box of 4s ages ago after she blew through size 2 in a month or two, but we've been in 3s for 4-5 months now!

DD is 20 months and wears a 6. She is really tall and a size 5 seemed a bit small for her so I moved her up last week. We use Parents Choice.

DD was in 4's for a while, but once she started walking, she was able to move back down to 3's. So, we have been in 3's for quite a while.

DS is still in size 3's and has been in them since he was about 5 months old, I am thinking of moving him into 4's though once I am finished with the 3's since I bought a bunch of size 4's months ago when he was growing like a weed. He is 23lbs and about 30 1/2 long now but the 3's still fit him great.

Diaper size has nothing to do with age - its all a weight thing. My DD is 1 1/2, weighs around 21 pounds and is in a size 4 Pampers and a size 4 Target brand. Each brand fits a little different as well. She has worn size 5 Pampers a few times (my bought size 5 by mistake when we went on vacation and they worked, but were up so high on her tummy)

DS is in 5s and has been for about a month. He's really tall and the 5s cover him better than the 4s did and we have less poopy leakage with the 5s.

Luvs size 4s. I think I am gonna get a pack of 5s for nights though, if she sleeps late her dipe is so full that it can't hold anymore!!

DS is almost 25 lbs. We have been in 5's for at least 4 months, I Think. He's tall and they just worked better at containing everything. FWIW, the Costco Kirkland Diapers seem to hang less in the crotch area than my Pampers.
