My DD has Williams Syndrome - diagnosed just after birth due to (now very mild) facial features, some cardiac issues (but not SVAS, the "typical" WS heart issue), and small size. She's now 9 months and doing very well, starting to crawl, does great with solids, doesn't seem sensitive to noise, has only mild pulmonary valvar stenosis - in other words, she probably wouldn't be diagnosed now. She's a bit later than most kids on her milestones, but everything has still been within the typical range. Eg - We're just starting crawling a few feet at a time. All the specialists we've seen have been absolutely amazed that her pedi picked it up, but we confirmed through FISH analysis and yep - sure enough. Oh, and she does have slightly high calcium levels.
So I guess what I'm saying is that it's a very wide spectrum. If you want to shoot me an email I'm happy to tell you about our experience so far. (I'm editing out my email and will try to pm you with it, like akimbo did - good call there)
Good luck! Our daughter is beautiful and lovely and we adore her, and all the WS kids I've met have been very happy children.
