Nipple question....

I have been told that I have flat/ inverted nipples.....I have been reading that it may be possible to breastfeed still. I was reading that Medella makes nipple shields you are supposed to start wearing in your 3rd tri to help bring out the nipple....do these work? Any suggestions? Does anyone else have these?

    I've been wearing the hard plastic ones for a while. They have helped, though to a limited degree.  I'm looking into the soft plastic ones for during nursing.

    I use the Medela ones while nursing.  Avent also makes some shields you can nurse with.  I never wore anthing during pregnancy.
