We wanted to get our rings engraved, but we had the hardest time thinking of something short and sweet, and something we could agree on. As a joke I said, "How about established August 9, 2008?" The rest is history. Our bands both say: Est. 8-9-08
We are going to get ours engraved but still can't decide on what. "Always & Forever" is what we are thinking because it is something we say to each other.

Yup, secret messages that only we understand. We did not tell the other what we wrote and we looked in a private moment in the limo after the wedding. Mine says LYMMSD. Cracks me up every time I think of it. He is awesome.
Yes. We each engraved the others, and didn't look at them until our wedding day.
Mine says: For the love of my life
His says: Start of something good - 6.26.2007 (a line from the song we talked about during our first conversation, one of "our" songs - and our wedding date)
We engraved each others bands and kept it a secret until the night of our wedding. My finger is teeny tiny and all he could fit was "MY BFF" haha I engraved his with an endearing inside joke," luv u 4ever duck"
We're both dorks. My ring says, "To My Only One", which is a take off of Highlander's "There can be only one" line (my husband LOVES that movie).
His ring says, "To My Puddin'", which is what Harley Quinn (my favorite comic character) says to her love, the Joker (his favorite character). I call him my puddin' all the time.
