oh jeez!

so i was indulging my chocolate ice cream with my mom and younger sister at coldstone tonite when i saw a mom, dad and little girl, about 3 or 4 walking to the car. the dad got in the car and i heard his wife say "thanks for the help" and he said "its YOUR daughter"....my mouth dropped, even if it is technically not your child (i obviously dont know their back history) why would you say that in front of the child!! i guess i got very lucky with my stepdad
