totally true for me. I popped Tums like they were candy throughout my entire 3rd trimester, she had long black hair, not too much, but super cute! It's since faded to a dark brown but hasn't really thinnned out too much. Good luck!
Well I'm not sure cause I didn't have a lot of heartburn and my dd didn't have a lot of hair.. but I remember when I was in the hospital my nurse was telling me that she swears that is true!! She said she always asks her patients if they had bad heartburn and if they do they always have lo's with lots of hair.. haha..so maybe!

I had terrible heartburn and DS was born with a full head of hair (and he hasn't lost a bit of it!). Usually the first comment from everyone that meets him is on the hair.
I had wicked bad heartburn in 3rd tri and DD has hair. Not as much as some on this board but enough. I didn't have any when I was born so I was happy she has at least some.

lots of very helpful advice, I think the consensus makes the tale a little true....I must say, like one of the PP's said above me, If it is true I too am birthing a Yeti...hopefully with red hair, LOL
I guess its as true as the "carrying high=girl, carrying low-boy"...not true for me, im carrying my LO in my knees and so far shes a girl...lol
haha this was actually true for me!!! I had horrible morning sickness the entire pregnancy and if I wasn't being sick I had horrible heartburn, and my DD hair has been exactly like it is in my siggy since she was born lol well a little shorter, but all of it was still there

I had bad heartburn with all three of my kids. Two of them came out with massive amounts of hair and the other one just had a tiny more than peach fuzz.
Re: sneaking from 3rd tri** any truth to this old wives tale?
No heartburn. and DD had lots of hair and has even more now!
"You're gonna miss this You're gonna want this back You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast..."
This.
Not for me. I had horrible heartburn and DD had a normal amount of hair.
Here she is:
