Tantrum at the age of 1?!

Chelsea had her first tantrum yesterday.  When she doesn't want something she swings her arms left and right across her body, back and forth FAST and CRAZILY!! I couldn't help but crack up.  HILARIOUS!!  Does your kid do this?  I don't recall Eli catching a tantrum THIS early? 

BTW she did again today at dinner...

    abby's 10 months and she throws a fit!  she will throw her body back and kick and flail her arms against the floor if I take something away from her or won't give her what she wants!

    Diego never did that either but I can totally see Sofia doing it at that age. She is another story. I am seeing and experiencing so many new things with her already.

    oh yes. that is how Zoe's started!! with flailing arms. now she throws herself down on the floor and kicks and screams, or she bites the furniture!

    Andrew will cry for a second or two if I take something away.  But then he gets over it real quick. 

    I'm so not looking forward to real tantrums!

    Riley isthe SAME way! Throws herself on the ground while screaming and if she's really mad, she'll bite anything that's in biting range.

    that's funny, Jen!! another thing Zoe does... if she gets hurt on a toy or something, like slips and falls into her play kitchen, she gets MAD at the kitchen! She'll hit it, try to knock it down, bite it!!! Man, these tempers!!!!!!!

    That sounds like my DH!  If he gets hurt by something, he yells at it and would love to smash it.  He restrains himself but you can tell he wants to throw it out the window or something.

    Andrew bumped his head on the toy box the other day.  DH smacks the toy box and says, "Bad toy box, bad!"

    My little one does the same thing! He just turned 1 and he is biting (which he has been doing for a few months) and screams his head off when he doesn't get what he wants. Oh boy!
