Psychological Factors
Emotions can play a large role in both female and male infertility. The entire reproductive process is controlled by one organ - the brain. Negative thinking or emotional distress can sometimes interfere with the brain's ability to control this process. In particular, depression has been linked in various studies, including one from Brown University and another from the University of California, San Diego, with decreasing a woman's ability to get pregnant. While experts aren't exactly sure how or to what degree emotions play a role in infertility, an increasing number of infertility clinics are supplementing their treatments with courses that focus on changing the way you think. You might want to think about redecorating your home or office in order to create a more relaxing environment in which to focus on your thoughts and on your body.

If there's one thing I've learned while waiting my turn,
it's that in each life some rain falls but you also get some sun.
After 2 years & 2 losses, our little man arrived 8-2011.
I wonder if there are interior designers in the phone book for infertility purposes....
At least now we know, on top of pineapple core, green tea, pom juice, pnv, charting, having more sex than should be legal, peeing on any thing that resembles a stick, we now have to redecorate our offices and bedrooms too!

Dh seeing new MFI uro & Dh starting meds- June 2012.
IVF #5 in Dec 2012 = BFFN.
IVF #6 planned for Spring 2013. Praying for our take home baby/ies.

This doesn't work. Our bedroom and bathroom and living room are all shades of green. Maybe I should try hot pink instead?!
