New and looking for a Ped in Dunwoody/Alpharetta

Hi Ladies,

I totally love all the topics and responses provided by the ladies on the Atlanta Bump.  Thanks for maintaining such an informative and friendly site.  As a first time mommy- to- be I?m so excited.  I can?t wait to get to know some of you.  Any suggestions for a pediatrician located in the Dunwoody/Alpharetta area.  I would prefer a pediatrician who is affiliated with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.  I totally love my OB at North Atlanta Women?s Specialist and would love to have my baby receive the same professional, friendly and highly respected care.  Thanks for all your insight and suggestions in advance.  See you on the threads.

    We love Dr. Alli at Georgetown Pediatrics in Dunwoody.  I believe they also have an Alpharetta office that she is at once a week.

    Txs Kep for the third referral to Dr. Groefrer and Doctryan for the referral to Dr. Alli.  Txs for taking the time to help me.  As a new mom to be it can be very scary.

    I loved Children's Wellness in Dunwoody...we used Dr. Mekelburg.  We moved and changed practices, and I don't like the new one as well :(  All three doctors at Children's Wellness are just fabulous!

    There's actually 4 at Children's Wellness....that's who we chose. WE are going with Dr. Loventhal. I love that he stays up to date and practices research-based medicine. I also like that he's realistic, and he shares a lot of the same views we do....
    The Knot won't share my Bump Siggy, so here's the low-down: 4/27/07 - Got engaged! 8/31/08 - Got married (to my best friend)! 12/30/08 - Got Pregnant! 9/3/09 - Welcome to the world, Elias Solomon! 8/16/10 - Got Pregnant, again! 5/14/11 - Welcome to the world, Talia Hadassah! 1/14/12 - Ready or not, here comes #3 (EDD 9/27/12)

    So far the two most popular pediatrician offices suggested:  Dunwoody Pediatrics ? Dr. Groefrer received 4 votes and Children's Wellness in Dunwoody received 3 votes (two suggested Drs. Mekelburg and Loventhal).
