TTC After a Loss

Hello ladies, Got a concern...

My name is Ada and i had a natural M/C on 07/15/09... its been 48 days now and still no show of AF ... i been having cramps here and there about a week now, so far the only symptom i have. I went to see my Doctor last saturday and they did a PT and came back BFN. He also checked me and he said my uterus was still a bit big (is this normal)? so now i was just sent home to wait for my AF..

Im just curious to know if anyone else experienced something like this that can help me relate to.

thanks,

Re: Hello ladies, Got a concern...

  • After my 1st m/c, it took 8 weeks to get AF.  I would try to be patient.

    Sorry for your loss!

  • your sn looks awfully familiar....

sorry for your loss, but i got nuthin for your question... i do think it is normal to have to wait it out though.

  • AF took exactly 6 weeks to come, and the Dr. had told me that anywhere from 4-8 weeks is perfectly normal, so it sounds like you're still in the average range.

I hated the waiting game...so here's hoping she visits soon and then leaves for 9 months!

  • hey were you the one who stirred up some shiz with mindy?
  • It took 12 weeks for me to get my first AF. Are they checking your betas? Part of my problem was that they dropped SO slowly. It literally took 3 months to go from 4800 to 0. Once they hit 0, i got AF immediately.

I hope it doesn't take that long for you. I think your dr. can give you meds to speed it up too. Mine wanted to wait until the 12 week mark before prescribing something and then I naturally got it.
