Hi Ladies. Just wondering what happens if you get OHSS? Do you need monitoring and meds to get rid of it if you get it? Thanks!!

I was told there aren't really any meds - I was just instructed to consume lots and lots of sodium to help absorb the fluid (V8, gatorade, ramen noodles, etc.). I had b/w done twice to check electrolytes and kidney/liver function, and I had u/s done twice to check how much fluid there was. Mine peaked at the mild to moderate stage, but if it had gotten to the severe stage (trouble breathing, vomiting) they would have drained the fluid.
